STDs= sexually transmitted diseases

• these are transmitted by genital fluids of the individual
• any bacteria, protozoan or virus which are present in the body fluids will get transmitted to the other.
• surgical and hormonal methods will only be efficient to prevent the physical contact of gametes.
• these methods will not be sufficient for the pathogen blockage which are getting transmitted by the genital fluids

In that case ,those measures are used in which we can block the microbes path by putting barrier between it and body surface(inner epithelium)

eg.rubber,genital walts are used.
