Why cant we see object in dark room

Hey mate,..

In a dark room, as light is absent due to which the object doesn't shows reflection and we can't see the object shinning.

we can see only those objects from which light is reflected back to us and enter our eyes. We cannot see objects in a dark room bcoz the light is not present there and in the absence of light no object can send back the rays of light.
