Why cant we see our image in a white sheet of paper through ot reflects light?

So , when light ray incident on it, it reflected back at different angles. This multiple reflection scattersthe reflecting rays of the imageand so we lost the image. This isbecause the surface of the paper is rough, sending back rays of light at different angles..
