capacitor does not allow sudden change in voltage because the large amount of capacitors can't make instantaneously that is

C= q/v

if v = 0

C = q/0

C = infinity

If the value of capacitor is at infinity then only v = 0

which is impossible .

  • LED ( light emitting diode) while port switch is off the bulb does not sadden off because the energy stored in capacitor get discharges slowly.
