Because the attractional force between 4 covalent bonds within 2 atoms is so weak that threy r not stable.

MohammadTauheed: oohh
chinmayajit2004: tell fast whether the force is between nucleus ofr electrons ?
chinmayajit2004: or
MohammadTauheed: between electron
MohammadTauheed: in the bond
chinmayajit2004: thats it
chinmayajit2004: thanks broda !
Anas05448: ur welcome brodi

when their is sharing of 8 electron in between two atom their is two much repulsive force created in bond so bond became very weak

this same happen in carbon

chinmayajit2004: Repulsive force between whom ?
chinmayajit2004: make it clear
MohammadTauheed: between the elctrons
