Why carbon compound is bad conductor of electricity

Because it forms covalent bond with other that's why there is no if ion in it and electricity doesn't produce

The carbon compound are poor conductor of electricity as they form covalent bond so it does not give rise to free electron and as carbon compound does not dissociste itself in ions and therefore carbon compound r bad conductor of electricity
