Why carbon form always covalent bond?​ don't spamm plzz

HI HERE IS YOUR ANSWER DEAR. .

carbon always form covalent bond because if if it forms positive ions by losing electrons it will require a great energy for losing 4 electrons

if it would gain 4 electrons to form anions it will be difficult for the nucleus to hold these 4 extra electrons
