carbon is very electronegative and it have a valency of 4 that's why it form strong covalent bonds

In comparison to ionic bonds, covalent bonds are very weak and have low melting and boiling point.
But among all thr elements which form covalent bonds, Carbon forms the strongest as it has the ability to form tetrahedral shape with 4 covalent bonds.
This makes carbon an element with the strongest covalent bonds.
