Hello Friend
Carbonation is done in soft drinks to increase the solubility of carbindioxide in drink.
Carbondioxide is introduced in the bottke under high vapour pressure.
When the bottle is opened the vapour pressure becomes equal to atmospheric pressure and the Carbondioxide gas comes out of it in the form of bubbles.
