Plastic Bags are one of the biggest sources of pollution, it is very costly and inefficient to recycle when it is disposed. Cotton bags is considered to be the best and perfect alternative to plastic bags. These bags are made from 100% cotton which are completely eco-friendly, natural and bio-degradable. At the same time, it also creates awareness against disadvantages of using plastic bags.
Cotton Bags can decompose easily within few weeks or months but it takes thousands of years or even longer period of time for a plastic bag to deteriorate completely.
Plastic bags requires billions tons of petroleum in producing plastics worldwide, which can be saved for our future as petroleum energy is a non-renewable resource and depleting at a fast rate. On the other hand, Cotton requires very less farming space and water to be cultivated and is very eco-friendly method which can be conserved for our future.
Plastic bags are very cheap, light weighted, functional, strong and it is a comfortable way of carrying foods and other stuffs. But it can be used only once. Every year these plastic bags are found littering all around the parks, beaches and streets which is very harmful for the humans and animals as well.
