Guru Purnima is the pure full moon day of the Hindus calendar, month of Ashadh (usually between june- july) .This day is celebrated every year to express gratitude towards the Guru or Teacher.
It is a day to worship the Guru and to express complete gratitude for what we have received and have been receiving from him.
This festival is traditionally observed by Hindus, Buddhist, and Jains .
