Charminar was built by Muhammad Quli qutb shahi to celebrate the end of a deadly plague

During the region of quli qutb shah Hyderabad was affected by plague.
Many people were dying due to the plague. So quli qutb shah prayed to Allah and said that he will build a mosque on very place.
