It is possible to form water byburning hydrogen in oxygen. You can pass an electric current through the water and split it into hydrogen and oxygen. Most chemists would not call this a reversible reaction.

Because in a chemical change breaking of old bonds and formation of new bonds takes place. So, it needs a high energy to get the old substance back. Hence, a chemical change can't be reversed easily but we can't say that a chemical change is irreversible.
