chemical properties are primarily based on the electronic configuration and the arrangement of electrons in the valence shell

isotopes have same number of electrons . therefore they have same chemical properties

Chemical property of an element is based on its valency or we can say that its electronic configuration wheter it is metal , non metal or metalloid.
In an isotope, the no. of electron are same so the electronic configuration is ,the only difference is them is their mass.
