Child labor was important to factories because the factory could pay them less than an adult for similar work and also the children could fit their hands into small places to fix things or work in which adults could not making them more beneficial.

It was an important thing to stop because it kept children out of school so they couldn't get an education and possibly get a better job than the factory, the children more than often got injured and were no longer able to work for the rest of their lives and suffered, and they were more susceptible to illnesses.

This horrific thing (problem) caused a great scale change to help benefit workers as a whole (solution) because people felt bad for them
