why china and mexico cannot be called as a democratic countries even though they conduct elections . pls explain in different points and content quality answers needed.

In china elections are held for its parliament but all the candidates are either members of chinese communist party or eight smaller allies of the party And in mexico elections have been held every six yeara since 1980 but same party PRI has won every elections. Hence, that is the china and mexico not called democractic countries

China is not regarded as a drmotractic country because elections in China doesn't offer any choice of the voters.
