Why chlorine mass 35u has the 75%?

The theory is different from other elements. Thats all because of isotopes. Remember chlorine has two isotopes 35 Cl and 37 Cl. And we know that isotopes are atoms with same protons but different neutrons. In this case, both isotopes have proton=17, same for both the isotopes but ratio of their atomic mass is 3:1 for 35 Cl: 37 Cl. So their atomic mass comes out to be like=(3*(35)+1*(37))/4=35.5. Due to this reason it is found in abundance in nature.i.e.75%
