chor bazaar is located in the southeast of mumbai.
according to the popular legend,it is said that "if u lose something in mumbai,u can find it again in chor bazaar.". despite it's reputation the chor bazaar actually sells second hand goods instead of stolen ones.hence the market is not banned.
