Why chyme is acidic and chyle is basic ?

Chyme is the partially digested food that is passed on to the intestines via the stomach.
As the stomach has an acidic pH(1.8) due to HCl acid,chyme passes out as an acidic mass of partially digested food.
Chyle whereas is the fully digested food from the intestines ready to be defeacated.
As pH is alkaline(8.8) in the intestines due to its enzymes(like pancreatic juice and succus entericus),chyle is basic.
