Why clorophyll appear green

The chlorophyll is the pigment which gives green colour ot the leaves .It appears to be green in colour because it absorbs most of the colours of the white light like the blue, yellow and red , But not the Green colour. It reflects away the green colour and hence it appears to be green.

Chlorophyll is a green pigment present in plants.It is green because it absorbs many colors like blue,red etc but unable to absorb green so it appears green.
