if we inhale...it's forms a dangerous bond with oxygen called carboxyhaemoglobin which cuts down the transport of co2 to the tissues and the person dies

haemoglobin in our blood has higher affinity for co so when co enters in our lungs haemoglobin binds with co rather than oxygen which causes less oxygen to go in the body which slowly causes death
