why colloidal do not seperate from filter paper

particles of colloids range from 1 to 100nm. It is very small that it can't be seen with naked eyes.even it is smaller than the hole of the filter paper,thus it can't be separated by filter paper but can be separated by ultra filtration.

Because the size of collides particle are very strong (10A°to10000A°) so particle pass out though filter paper so we don't use filter instead this we use animal memberane.
