Math is hard because it is a non-intuitive, non-natural activity. Math don't happen by chance only, it only happens with deliberate, focused work. For this you expend a lot of energy and cause a lot of mental strain, you put yourself on an unconfortable condition for hours, days, sometimes weeks to solve a problem.
