Common cold is a diseases caused by virus . It is one of the most common infectious disease in human . Antibiotics are substances that destroy or inhibit in growth of microorganisms , particularly diseases producing by bacteria and fungi .
Thus antibiotics are useful for diseases caused by bacteria or fungi . But they could not cure viral diseases .
