Half filled and fully filled orbitals are more stable than partially filled orbitals due to following reason:-
◆ symmetry :-

=) Half filled and fully filled electrons creates a symmetry and it is well known that symmetrical distribution of electrons leads to stability.
◆symmetry plays an important role in determining the stability.
◆ Another factor is energy exchange.
=) we know that initially electrons are in ground state and after getting energy it comes to exited state and electrons jump from one orbital to another orbital.
These electrons carry energy so when electrons jump from one orbital to another orbital there is exchange of energy which is possible only for symmetrical orbits.
=) During energy exchange the energy of each orbitals is reduced and we know that "lesser the energy more stable is the orbital"
