Concave mirrors are converging mirrors which bulges inwards.They collect the parallel rays from the object and forms an image at the focal point.

because concave mirror are converging mirror,
it can converge the light rays coming from the cerestrial bodies outside the earth, and make it
diminished image to see objects clearly
