why concave mirror gives us a real image while it is a mirror and thus mirror can not
gives us real image

Its because only in concave mirror the reflected rays meet at a particular point in the front of mirror,where a real image is obtained.

Explanation: Mirror is an instrument that us meant to reflect the light from it's surface. The nature of image, I.e. real or virtual depends upon it's curvature : Concave or Convex.

SINCE THE RAYS IN CONCAVE MIRROR REALLY MEET WITH EACH OTHER, IT FORMS REAL IMAGE. WHEREAS IN CASE OF CONVEX, RAYS APPER TO DIVERGE FROM A POINT ( it is our concept ).

So, convex mirror forms virtual image
