why concentrated HNO³ is kept in aluminium vessels ?​

The concentrated HNO³ is very corrosive in nature and also a good oxidising agent. When it is kept in Aluminum vessel, it will react with it to form a thick layer of aluminum oxide and this layer prevents the rest of the aluminum beneath from being corroded.
