The constitution of south Africa is the supreme law of the state of south Africa. It provides the legel foundation for the existence of the Republic, sets out the rights and duties of its citizens And defines the structure of the goverment.

The constitution of South Africa is perfect for a Democracy as it provided Equal rights to everyone irrespective of their Caste, Religion and Colour.

After the formation of its Constitution the blacks and the white agreed of certain decision to live peacefully with each other.

The constitution of South Africa is a good example to understand why we need constitution and what do constitutions do.

To create perfect constitution the blacks and whites compromise on various decisions. The Whites agreed on the principle of majority rule and that of one person one vote also agreed to provide some basic rights for the poor people. The black agreed that the majority would not take away the property of the white.
