Continuous cultivation should not be appreciated. bcoz if we leave the soil uncultivated the soil can regain it's lost fertility minerals etc. Doing this will give more productivity to next crops. And also if we leave the harvested remains, it will improve the fertility of the soil.

In cultivation we use various kinds of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and insecticides.which in turn leads to pollution, various diseases, and infections brought about by overcrowding and poor hygiene.
It affects the natural habitat of wild animals. Use of chemical fertilizers contaminates soil and water bodies, such as lakes and rivers.
so ,land should be kept empty, so that they can regain vigour again.
continuous farming also make land barren.
so continuous farming not appreciated.
Hope it helps
