converting of wood into sawdust is an irreversible change because once converted it cannot be changed back into the form of wood again. so we can say that it is an irreversible change.

No,Right!!....Thats what irreversible means.You can't gain the original material by any process.
Thus this conversion of wood into sawdust is an irreversible change
