why convertion is not possible in solids? ​

the convection is only possible in liquids and gases not in solids as the molecules are tightly packed in solids whereas in liquid and gases the molecular power is not that strong. So when solids are heated they can't rise up like liquids or gases. Hence, solids pass their heat through sources
