why convex mirrors are used in torch lights? only convex mirror

The light rays from a source placed on the focus of a concave mirror are reflected in such a way that the reflected rays are strong, straight and parrellel so, convex mirror are used in torch light

Convex mirror is used because it is a diverging mirror which help in spreading the light over the area.
