Why copper bottomed vessels used for cooking

Copper bottom are used for cooking vessels as they are good conductor of heat. So they heat up quickly than other vessels, and cooking is faster.

specific heat of copper is very low , it requires very less energy to heat the cooper which makes it a very good conductor of heat hence cooking becomes faster with lesser energy wastage therefore copper bottomed vessels are used for cooking
