why copper does not react with dilute hydrochloric acid on heating?

Cu does not react with any acids b'coz ..Cu is below hydrogen in the electro chemical series. Cu will not react with any acids unless they r also strong oxidising agents. Here , HCl is not that strong oxidising agent. Thus it will not react with Cu metal . Hope it helped :)
