Copper is a excellent conductor of electricity or it is a metal which allows electricity of pass through easily. It is also ductile and malleable or it can be drawn as wires or any other shapes.
The reason why silver is not used as wire is because it is very expensive. Aluminium is also more expensive than copper . So, we use copper wires mainly.
