Why copper isnot used in filament instead of tungsten.

Copper wire is not used in filament of a bulb because it does not have a higher resistance hence it will illuminate negligible amount of light. if we will use a thick tungsten wire so the surface area will be more resulting more amount of heat and less amount of light. thank you so much
