Hii..

copper sulphate solution in water does not show tyndall effect but mixture of water and milk shows because the particles are very small  less than 1nm
so it does not show tyndall effect
milk is a compound its size greater than 1nm,so tyndall effect is shown

hope this helps...!

professor4: So, copper sulphate solution is a homogeneous mixture?
MacTavish343: yess
professor4: thanks

Hey mate here is your answer

The solution of copper sulphate in water is a true solutions. In a true solution , the solute particles are so small that they cannot scatter light

falling on them. Hence, copper sulphate solution in water does not show Tyndall effect. Mixture of water and milk is a colloidal and in

colloidal solution, the particles are

big enough to scatter light. So, the mixture of water and milk shows

Tyndall effect.
