Cotton clothes are worn in summer because cotton absorves the sweat our body releases.So we wear cotton clothes in summer.

Cotton clothes absorb more sweat as compared to synthetic clothes. The sweat which is absorbed by it evaporates faster. Particles gain energy from our body for evaporation and then liver cooling effect.This makes our body feel cool .
