Why couldn't the boy gather confidence?if you were there, would you dare to ask dr kalam a question?

The boy was not confident to ask doubts or questions to his teachers or friends, he was shy. But he had an ambition to become a marine engineer. But at the meeting with Dr kalam he asked how to be confident and kalam said it was the question of thousands. If I was there I would have surely asked him a question.
