Covalent compunds are the compounds which are formed by the covalent bonding i. e. bonding which involves sharing of electrons between two atoms to complete their octect.
Whereas..ionic compounds are formed by the ionic bonding i.e. the bonding which involves the transfer of electrons from one atom to the other to complete their octect.
