Crop rotation is the practice of growing a series of dissimilar or different types of crops in the same area in sequenced seasons. It is done so that the soil of farms is not used for only one set of nutrients. It helps in reducing soil erosion and increases soil fertility and crop yield......☺

Crop rotation is considered good agricultural practice for the following reasons :
1.it maintains fertility of the soil. for example a legume rotation is very useful because leguminous plants give nitrogen to the soil, so farmer gets higher yields.
2. Weeds are also destroyed as continuous weeding is done .
3. It also helps in control of insects and diseases in plants.
