why curd have sour taste?

because of the formation of lactic acid in it by lactobacillus and as acids are sour in taste so just like other acids lactic acid is also sour in taste and it is responsible for making curd sour

curd taste sour because they contain acids . The chemical nature of the substance is acidic. The word acid comes from the Latin word acre which means sour.
