because current flow from higher potential to lower potential as the side which has more electons will low potential

see the flow of electrons is from place where the electons are more to place where electrons are less.so the we know that current is flow of unit positive charge so the the place which have more electron will have less protons and the place which have less electron will have more protons . so it finally said flow of current is in opposite direction of flow of current

Current is defined as the flow of positive charge.Since, the flow of positive charge is always opposite to that of negative charge, current flows in the oppostite direction of negative charge.
