Why d the planets have ring around them?

In this case, if material is close to the planet, the planet's gravitational pull is too strong to coalesce into a moon and the particles that would otherwise form a moon spread out in orbit around the planet as a ring.

Answer:there r many theories related to this topic but it is not confirmed which is true...... some theory state that it was formed when other planets were formed ...... some state that it was formed from rocks and asteriods which were passing through them due to the gravitational force of planet they start to revolve around and formed a ring.....
