Ozone layer protects our Earth from the harmful UV rays of the sun. In other words Ozone layer acts as a protective shield of Earth. If ozone layer start to damage then the UV rays will enter into Earth.

Therefore damage to the ozone layer is a case of concern. However scientists have detected the absence of ozone layer over Antarctica.

Damage to the ozone layer causes due to the birth of harmful greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, methane,CFC,etc. So we have to stop giving birth to these gases.
