Danger signs are coloured in red because they have less intensity and longer wavelength which does not scatters and hence help to see through a longer distance also.It also helps us to see the red light during fog. Therefore danger signs are always in red.

As red light scattered the least as it bend the less. 2. So red light reach our eye very fast. 3. As it scatter less, it even reach our eyes in presence of fog or heavy dust
