When DC voltage is passed in an transformer, DC can be increased and decreased only in an transformer. So there will be an coil present in the transformer. In which the DC voltage is passed where the coil will behave like a magnet. So DC can't be increased or decreased due to this.

Hey

Limiting the flow of current to reduce losses in the wires is much more difficult with DC than with AC power systems, so you are limited to reducing wire resistance by using larger conductors, which is expensive due to the high cost of copper.

In direct current (DC), the electric charge (current) only flows in one direction. Electric charge in alternating current (AC), on the other hand, changes direction periodically. The voltage in AC circuits also periodically reverses because the current changes direction.

hope this helps

pls mark my answer as brainliest plzzzzzzz
