Why dead body float in water but head sink in water?

When a body drowns, gases such as carbondioxide,Methane, hydrogen sulphide stars building up in the body due to decomposition. These gases mostly build up in lungs area.Hence these regions are mostly buoyant and they rise quickly than the other parts such as arms and legs which drags them down. Hence the body overturns itself and cannot drag it's limbs and when reaches the surface, it will face down.

Dead body floats on water surface while a living body sink into water due to depend on density.

The dead man density lower than water, but the living body having density more than water.

This is the reason why dead body floats in water and living body sink in water.
