why deep water fish often die in shallow water ?

Deep sea fishes often die in fresh water because when fresh water flows into their body, their cell accumulate so much water that suddenly they would die.

Explanation:

The water would flow into their body till all their cells gather so much water that they inflate and die ultimately. On the other hand, freshwater fish can't endure in the ocean or saltwater because the seawater is too salty for them.
